Midway is amazing and has brought me so much happiness and support. Everyone on campus has a goal and is always pushing one another to be better in either their studies, sport, or life in general. Everyone is supportive of each other’s athletics and other activities. The weather is so beautiful that people lay out in the grass and socialize with one another. The cafeteria cares about what students want to eat and their desserts are amazing! Made fresh in their bakery. There are always activities happening on campus such as corn hole, art projects, athletic games, etc. The career development center is very helpful with helping you find an internship or job. The professors and faculty are extremely genuine. The school thrives on its athletes, nursing and equine program. However, if you want to have something to do on the weekends, Lexington is only 15 minutes away as well as Frankfort. Junior: Small university that offers a get away from the city. Swau will always hold a special place in my heart!. I have grown as a person and have been able to make connections with those around me and hope to one day be able to give back to Swau in the future after I have graduated. Overall I’ve had a great experience at Swau and wouldn’t change it for anything in the world. Although there is always room for improvement I believe that assemblies should not be required but that’s just personal opinion. The professors at Swau are very intrigued in your educational growth and always strive to help you understand the information that is being taught. As a current student from Swau I can honestly say that I have had the privilege to meet some of the best staff who care about your future and have made lifelong friends. They have many extracurricular activities and clubs that you are more than welcome to join. Junior: What I like about Southwestern Adventist University is that it is a close-knit university filled with diversity and love. I am excited to further my education and am glad that I selected King University as the school to do that with!. All online courses are affordable for a middle-class family. They have given me advice and walked me through all the steps I needed to make smart financial decisions that we were comfortable with. King University’s financial department is very helpful and wonderful to work with. The five-week, fully online course lay out has helped me focus on one class at a time while also being able to work and spend time with my family. The idea of spending less time with my husband and child along with the financial burden was not taken lightly. I am a full-time working student with a family so the decision to go back to school was hard and scary. I completed my associate’s degree at a local community college, so choosing a school that accepted my transfer credits was a top priority for me. Junior: I am currently enrolled at King University studying communications. Their core values are held in the Bible!. Their classes are accredited and have every program class I need and desire in my pursued choice of program. It has been a true pleasure of mine to work with the staff and counselors at Grand Canyon University because of their great attitude and informative, honest academic and professional opinion. They make your own class schedule for you by having school counselor sign you up for each class at the beginning of each semester and really make sure you are doing your course work and studies. They quickly respond to me via email, zooms, phone calls, AND texts! They are on it! They really go into detail about what each program has that is offered and are super honest about what would be too much on my plate and class schedule. Freshman: Grand Canyon University has helped me decide which pathway and degree to choose to pursue by really making me feel like I matter and that they truly care about my financial, mental, emotional, and educational needs.
